5 healthy weekday tips
Do you find it difficult to stick to your plan to be healthy by midweek? Here are some of our top tips to make being healthy a breeze.
What’s on the menu?
A good first step is to try and figure out what you’re going to have for lunch and dinner each day and most importantly - stick to it. It’s a great chance to try out a new recipe you’ve had your eye on or get out on Instagram and Pinterest to see what tasty treats there are out there to try.
Plus planning meals in advance will help cut down on your shopping bills and keep your wallet streamline too.
Now it’s time to head down to the supermarket and get your ingredients you’ve planned. Whether you want to physically go into the store or do a group shop online with your housemates to cut down on costs, get shopping (for food)!
Ready, steady, cook!
Sundays are probably the best day to do a bit of meal prep. You don’t need to do it for the whole week unless that’s how you know you’re going to stay on track. Keep healthy and portion out meals to stop you getting tempted to deviate during the week.
Who said diamonds are a girl’s best friend when you have Tupperware? Chop your vegetables for salads, lunches and evening meals into airtight containers in the fridge, that way you’re ready to go whether it’s for lunch or to toss into a pain for dinner. It’ll help cut down on time food prepping even more.
Soon you’ll get yourself into a routine and healthy prep will be another part of your week to look forward to! If you’re prepared and start making it a habit, it’ll be much easier to stay on track.
