Elections 2018

Quiz the Candidates at Question Time

The Student Elections voting week is fast approaching, from 10am on Monday the 26th February until 6pm on Thursday 1st March you can vote to decide who will be the next leaders of the Students’ Union.

Next week the Union is holding two Question Time events for the Student Elections, for your chance to ask this year’s candidates about how they intend to run the Students’ Union.

The first event is being held at Eldon Building in the Hub on the ground floor on Tuesday the 20th February from 12pm-2pm. This event is for the candidates for President and VP Sports.

The second event is being held in Third Space, upstairs in the Students’ Union on Thursday the 22nd February from 12pm-2pm. This event is for the candidates for VP Activities, VP Education and Democracy and VP Welfare and Community.

The Question Time events will also be live streamed on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/portsmouthsu

This is the perfect opportunity for you to meet this year’s candidates and find out about their campaign goals and plans, and which candidates you want to vote for in the elections.

You can submit questions now using this form, and questions will be taken from the audience during the event. You’ll also get a chance to speak to the candidates after the event if you didn’t have your question answered.

Make the time to come down to see these events or watch live on Facebook and hear what the potential President and Vice Presidents have to say, to make sure you are as informed as possible when the polls open.
