Hundreds attend the University’s Festival of Cultures

The Festival of Cultures took place last night in the Union's Third Space.

Students, staff and people from across the local community attended the seventh annual Festival of Cultures last night.

The event is set up so that students can show off their countries and cultures with pride.

This year’s event will featured performances from the Hindu Society, Nepalese Society and Malaysian Society, as well as South American and Caribbean dancing.

Attendees were able to sample free food from different parts of the world, try out origami, Chinese calligraphy and more.

Third Space was awash with colour as students and staff turned up in national dress.
