Students and staff attend Eid Party
Over a hundred people came together to celebrate of Eid last week in the Union's Third Space.
The event was organised by the University of Portsmouth Students' Union (UPSU) to bring communities together and start discussion about how people celebrate Eid differently.
Entertainment for the evening included spoken poetry, student speeches and henna.
Students were also asked to bring dishes from their culture so that attendees could try a variety of foods from across the world.
At the end of the event there was a chance for students and staff to network.
A student who attended said: "It's great that the Students' Union held the Eid Party, it makes me feel so proud to be a part of Portsmouth! The event itself was so vibrant, I hope to see this again next year."
The Students' Union hope to be able to put on a similar event next year.
