I used to be a typical meathead. I was a powerlifter and was competing nationally. I was eating four or five eggs a day, four or five pieces of bacon for breakfast, two pints of milk because I thought that was what I had to do. I was brought up on semi-vegetarian meals because my mum was a vegan when she was at university. I like doing something a little bit alternative so one day at university I thought I’d give it a try. I went vegetarian for a week and my acne cleared up, I thought it was great. And then it just carried on, it’s been eighteen months or so now and I wouldn’t consider going back.
