The University of Portsmouth has been working in collaboration with the Students’ Union to progress with the implementation of content capture. The sub-group, led by Harriet Dunbar-Morris, consists of a range of University staff including representatives from Information Services, Technology Enhanced Learning, Ethics, Equality & Diversity, Academic Development, Associate Deans and the Students’ Union.

The aim of this survey was to consult with University students and staff to identify the best methods for increasing the availability of content capture materials and inform the University’s direction and policy on content capture.
This survey was designed by the sub-group, with support from the Students’ Union’s Insights Function. The survey was also hosted and responses analysed by the Insights Function.

There were 574 respondents to the student survey and 257 respondents to the staff survey.
